feels nice to specifically be making sketches...instead of worrying about making finished pieces.

My good friend Joe does these amazing "stream of consciousness" drawings, which are masterpieces unto themselves. This got me thinking recently about as to what I would do without thinking... i think?
Anyways, these feel as close to being spontaneous as I could get so here goes.

yep, giving up on painter for the time being. the damn program wiped all my adobe programs yesterday and then refused to open. aside from losing a painting the other day as well, the program is just too damn buggy for my liking...
back to photoshop it is! perhaps when the program becomes more stable ill check it out again.
anyways, here's Morrigan having a bad hair day...also trying new brushes and approach

Ok, so dug around on the internet for some brushes... didn't find anything I liked yet. Thought I had one, but was a complete fail... I'm looking for a gloopy, smeary brush... that makes no sense. Anyways, here's another painter surprise!
having a blast here:)!

as the title states... i need to learn how to use this program and its brushes. I've been struggling to make a brush that has the same feel as the simple water brush from painter 5(?) back in the day. anyone have good links to tutorials and such???
anyways, thanks for the invite! (i apologize in advance for my shamble painter attempts)
cheers!
